The opportunity
Birchwell Associates is supporting a digital organisation in the search for a Senior UX Researcher. This role will suit an experienced researcher who can lead studies, influence product direction and raise the quality of research practice across multiple teams.
You will partner with product, design, data and commercial stakeholders to identify important questions, select the right methods and turn evidence into clear product insight.
What you will be doing
- Plan and lead generative and evaluative research across the product lifecycle.
- Conduct interviews, usability testing, surveys and mixed-method research.
- Translate research findings into clear insights, opportunities and product recommendations.
- Partner with product and design leaders to shape discovery and strategic priorities.
- Build research plans, repositories, templates and repeatable standards.
- Coach colleagues and improve research capability across product teams.
What we are looking for
- Strong commercial experience in UX research or user research.
- Experience leading qualitative and quantitative research programmes.
- Excellent interview, facilitation, analysis and synthesis skills.
- Confidence presenting evidence and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience working within digital product, SaaS or service-design environments.
- A portfolio or case studies demonstrating research impact on product decisions.
What is on offer
- Salary between £55,000 and £70,000, depending on experience.
- Remote working within the United Kingdom.
