The opportunity
Birchwell Associates is supporting a growing renewable energy business in the search for an experienced Renewable Energy Electrician. The position will involve working across solar PV, battery storage and related electrical installations on domestic and commercial projects.
This role will suit a qualified electrician who takes pride in high standards, works confidently on site and wants to build a long-term career in the renewable energy sector.
What you will be doing
- Install, test and commission solar PV and battery storage systems.
- Complete electrical work across domestic and commercial renewable energy projects.
- Work with inverters, consumer units, cabling and associated electrical equipment.
- Carry out fault finding, testing and remedial work where required.
- Complete installation records and relevant technical documentation.
- Maintain strong standards of safety, workmanship and customer communication.
What we are looking for
- Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
- Current 18th Edition qualification.
- Testing and inspection experience is highly desirable.
- Previous solar PV, battery or renewable installation experience is preferred.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
- A reliable, organised and professional approach to site-based work.
