Solar Electrician.

The opportunity

Birchwell Associates is supporting a growing renewable energy business in the search for a Solar Electrician. The role will involve delivering high-quality solar PV, inverter and battery installations across residential projects throughout Devon.

This position will suit a qualified electrician with renewable installation experience who takes pride in safe, tidy workmanship and wants to build a long-term career in the solar sector.

What you will be doing

• Install, test and commission domestic solar PV systems.
• Install inverters, battery-storage equipment, isolators, cabling and associated electrical components.
• Complete consumer-unit upgrades and related electrical work where required.
• Carry out testing, fault finding and remedial work on new and existing systems.
• Complete certification, installation records and handover documentation.
• Maintain strong standards of safety, workmanship and customer communication.

What we are looking for

• Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
• Current 18th Edition qualification.
• Testing and inspection experience, ideally including 2391 or equivalent.
• Previous solar PV and battery-storage installation experience.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Devon.
• A reliable, organised and professional approach to residential site work.
