Infrastructure Manager.

The opportunity

Birchwell Associates is supporting a growing organisation in the search for an Infrastructure Manager. This role will suit an experienced technical leader who can manage day-to-day infrastructure services while driving strategic improvement and project delivery.

You will lead infrastructure and support capabilities, own key suppliers and technical risks and help shape the roadmap across cloud, networks, workplace technology, resilience and security.

What you will be doing

• Lead and develop infrastructure, cloud, network and technical support capabilities.
• Own service quality, operational performance, incident management and continuous improvement.
• Shape and deliver the infrastructure roadmap across cloud, networks, workplace and resilience.
• Manage suppliers, contracts, budgets, licensing and third-party service performance.
• Ensure appropriate security, backup, disaster-recovery and governance controls are maintained.
• Work with senior stakeholders to prioritise investment, manage risk and deliver technical change.

What we are looking for

• Strong experience leading infrastructure, cloud, network or technical operations teams.
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft platforms, cloud services, networking and workplace technology.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, migrations and service-improvement programmes.
• Good understanding of IT service management, security, resilience and operational governance.
• Experience managing suppliers, contracts, budgets and senior stakeholder expectations.
• A calm, structured leadership style with strong communication and decision-making skills.

What is on offer

• Salary between £65,000 and £80,000, depending on experience.
